The Care Ministry is our way of reaching out to our church family and community in their times of need. We are here to help, encourage, and come along beside you. This ministry helps provide meals, prayer, etc. for individuals or families in need. We want to be there in the good times and the bad.
The Word tells us to bear one another's burdens - it is the law of Christ. In Romans 12:5, Paul tells us that we are all members of Christ's body, and each member belongs to all the others. In verse 10, He exhorts us to be devoted to one another in brotherly love, honoring each other above ourselves. One way that Paul shows us how to honor each other is found in verse 13 "Distributing to the necessity of the saints; given to hospitality." There are times when we all need a helping hand. Please honor us by letting us help you. By helping you, we are laying up treasures in heaven.
To make it easier, we have specified some common areas of need and set up a coordinator for each area listed on this page. Please contact the designated coordinator or myself when we can be of service. If you know someone in need, please let us know. Remember, we are laying up treasures!
Having a new baby is a wonderful experience, but it does come with stress. We understand this is a difficult transition time, and want to make it a bit easier for you by providing meals for you and your family. We will provide meals for one week, however if circumstances warrant, we will provide for a longer period of time. We can arrange breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We want to serve you in this time of joy!
Coordinator: Roma G.
This area is for anyone who is facing surgery or serious injury. After you are at home we would be glad to provide meals for you for a week or possibly every other day for a couple of weeks. We want you to be able to rest and get well without having to worry about preparing meals.
Coordinator: Teresa S.
Everyone needs help every once in a while. Please do not feel embarrassed to ask for it. Your Christian family loves you!
Loss of Loved Ones:
This is a very hard time to go through. We want to provide food in the loss of your loved one. This would include: Child, Spouse, Mother, Father, Brother, or Sister. Let us love you through this ministry.
Coordinator: Tom & Cindy Bennett
This is to assist our seniors who have needs. Whether it is food or maybe someone to come over and help clean your house. You are important to our church body and we care about you.
It is hard to ask for help, especially when one is single and used to doing things on their own. If you are single and facing surgery, are ill, or just in need of a helping hand, please know that there are people here at Trinity who would like to reach out to you.
